From Users:

  • Mobile Number

  • Gender

This information is used solely for communication and mentor-matching purposes and remains strictly confidential.

From Mentors:

  • Certification and Education Documents

  • Government Identification for KYC Verification

This data is collected to verify authenticity and maintain platform integrity.


3. Analytics and Tracking

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Meta Pixel to understand user behavior and improve our services.
These tools may collect anonymized data such as IP address, device type, and pages visited.
No personally identifiable information is shared with these third parties.


4. Purpose of Data Collection

We use user and mentor data only for:

  • Facilitating communication between mentors and users

  • Verifying mentor credentials

  • Sending essential WhatsApp updates or reminders

  • Improving our platform and services

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with any unauthorized third party.


5. Payments

All payments on MindHope are processed securely through Zoho Payments.
We do not store or access any credit card, debit card, or bank account information.
All financial transactions are handled directly by Zoho under their security and privacy standards.


6. Communication Policy

We communicate with users only through WhatsApp messages initiated by our support team.
Mentor–client chats occur privately through WhatsApp.
No other communication channels (like email or SMS) are used for therapy or mentoring sessions.


7. Data Storage and Retention

  • Data is securely stored on Microsoft OneDrive servers.

  • We retain user and mentor data for a maximum period of three (3) months after the end of communication or session.

  • Users and mentors may request deletion of their data anytime by contacting us at support@mindhope.in.

Upon deletion, all associated personal data is permanently removed from our records and cloud storage.


8. User Eligibility

Our services are intended only for individuals aged 18 years or older.
We do not knowingly collect or maintain data from anyone under 18.


9. Data Security

We employ reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect user data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no online transmission is 100% secure, and users share information at their own risk.


10. Legal Compliance

MindHope complies with:

  • India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP), 2023

  • Applicable IT (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011
