Couples Counselling Online

Sit down together with one qualified counsellor, by audio or video, from home. Each joint session gives both of you equal space to be heard, and helps you talk about hard things without it turning into the same old fight.

Audio or video · 75-minute joint session · English or Hindi · Private and never recorded

When Couples Come to Counselling

You don't need to be at breaking point. Many couples come because something keeps repeating and talking about it alone hasn't worked.

The same arguments, again and again

Small things turn into big fights, or one of you shuts down. A counsellor helps you see the pattern underneath.

Trust has been hurt

After an affair, secrets or broken promises, it can feel impossible to talk calmly. Sessions give you a safer place to start.

Feeling distant

After a baby, a move abroad, long hours or long distance, you may feel more like flatmates than partners.

Family and in-law pressure

Expectations from parents and relatives can pull you in different directions. You work out what the two of you want.

Before marriage or a big step

Talk through money, roles, children, career moves and family expectations before they become conflicts.

Unsure whether to stay together

Your counsellor won't push you to stay or to separate. The goal is to help both of you decide clearly and respectfully.

How Online Couples Counselling Works

Booking takes a few minutes. Only one of you needs to book.

  1. Choose CoupleOn the booking page, choose couple counselling in the first step.
  2. Pick audio or video and a timeCouples sessions run on audio or video, so both voices are heard. Only times with a full 75 minutes free are shown.
  3. Join togetherSit together on one device, or each join the same call from your own phone or laptop if you are in different places.
  4. Talk with equal spaceA 75-minute session where your counsellor makes sure each of you gets heard, then helps you agree on next steps.

What Your Couples Counsellor Will and Won't Do

Knowing what to expect makes the first session much easier.

Your counsellor will

  • Stay neutral and give both of you equal time
  • Slow conversations down when they get heated
  • Help each of you say what you need without blaming
  • Point out patterns you may not notice from inside
  • Suggest small things to try between sessions

Your counsellor won't

  • Take sides or decide who is right
  • Tell you to stay together or to separate
  • Share anything with family or anyone else
  • Record your sessions
  • Lock you into a long package

When a Joint Session Is Not the Right Start

If you feel afraid of your partner, or there is hitting, threats or control over money, phone or movement, joint sessions can make things less safe. Please talk to someone on your own first: book an individual relationship counselling session.

Questions About Couples Counselling Online

If your question isn't here, message us on WhatsApp and we'll help.

Do both partners need to join a couples session?

Yes. A couples session is a joint session with both of you. If your partner isn't ready yet, you can start alone with relationship counselling. Things can still change when one person understands the pattern.

Can we join from different places?

Yes. You can sit together on one device, or each join the same audio or video call from your own phone or laptop. This works well for long-distance couples.

How long is an online couples counselling session?

Each couples session is 75 minutes, a little longer than an individual session, so both of you have time to speak and be heard.

How much does couples counselling online cost?

It is the audio (₹699) or video (₹899) session price plus a couples add-on of ₹499 per session, including GST. The exact total is shown before you pay.

Why is chat not available for couples?

In a joint session, tone of voice and taking turns matter a lot. Audio or video lets your counsellor hear both of you and keep the conversation balanced.

Will the counsellor take sides?

No. Your counsellor stays neutral and makes sure both of you get equal time. They won't tell you to stay together or to separate.

How many couples sessions will we need?

It depends on what you are working on. Some couples feel clearer after a few sessions, while others prefer weekly support for a few months. You're never locked into a long package.

Can we book if we live outside India?

Yes. Open times are shown in your local time zone, and sessions run on audio or video wherever you are. Prices are in Indian rupees, with a small international card fee added at checkout. See counselling for Indians abroad.

Is couples counselling online confidential?

Yes. Sessions are private and never recorded. Nothing is shared with family or anyone else, except in the rare case where someone's safety is at risk.

Start Talking to Each Other Again

One session won't fix everything, but it can change how the next conversation goes. Book a joint session when you are both ready. Want to understand online counselling at MindHope first? Start there.
